As of January 7, 2020 we are almost sold out for this year! Please email us at borderhighlanders@gmail.com to check on availability for tickets for this year's dinner.

Sorry that this site is so basic looking, but we wanted to get a secure way to purchase tickets up.

Moscow Burns Night will be held Saturday, February 8th at the 1912 Center in Moscow Idaho starting at 5:30pm. An optional Scotch tasting will be held beforehand at the McConnell Mansion for ticket holders only (information on the Scotch tasting will be sent to ticket holders before the event).

Tickets: You won't receive physical tickets, and you don't need to print anything out. We have your names on a list at the door with the number of tickets you purchased.

What to wear: Black, white, and tartan are traditional, but certainly not required. Wear what you like, but most folks dress up for for the event.

Scotch tasting: The Scotch tasting ($10 strongly suggested donation at the door for tasters; not included in ticket price) will be held across the street from the 1912 Center at the McConnell Mansion. If you plan on attending, please RSVP so we have a general idea of how much whisky to purchase (if you forget to RSVP, you can still come). The event will begin at 4:30 and run until 5:45pm, ad nwill include a number of single malt Scotch whiskies for sampling. All ages are welcome to attend, though (of course) only those 21 and over can sample the whisky.

Dinner: The main event starts at 6pm. We will provide plates, glasses, and utensils; water and coffee; and haggis. Please bring a potluck dish to share. Appetizers, main courses, sides, salads, desserts - we need them all, so bring what you like (and please bring serving utensils). Traditional Scottish dishes are encouraged but certainly not enforced. There will be a no-host bar at the dinner with assorted beer and wine.
